Programs

All DST Performance Enhancement programs are taught by Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists which are the same coaches used in collegiate, professional, and Olympic sports.

Youth Performance Enhancement (7-11 years old): (60 minutes) Introducing young athletes to the building blocks of performance such as balance, coordination, agility, and proper running form is vital for athletic success.  This program instills these concepts in an educational and physical format. Young athletes will not only learn the fundamentals to athletic success but they will learn to sweat in a safe and effective manner.

Junior Performance Enhancement (12-14 years old): (60 minutes) As players grow and develop, more emphasis gets placed on strength. This program is designed to carry on the fundamentals of Speed and Agility training but also incorporate basic weight lifting and explosive training.

Next Level Performance Enhancement (15-18 years old): (90 minutes) This is a program of speed, strength, and all around performance training geared towards the high school athlete. Concepts included but not limited to are explosive power, core strength, agility, and injury prevention training.

Collegiate: (90 minutes) Training for athletes headed off to college or ones home over a break needing to prepare for their strength and conditioning programs or looking to maintain them.

Adult Conditioning (19 years old and over): (60 minutes) This is a high intensity workout vastly different from any boot camp or group exercise class. Combining functional training and conditioning concepts used in athlete performance training, this program is one of the best ways to get into shape fast. Whether you are looking to get your game back or simply looking to look and feel your best, this program gets results.

Explosive Speed and Agility: (60 minutes) Almost every sport relies on timing in some form or fashion. Many games are often won and lost because of a split second reaction. Learning to change direction and move with a lightning quick first step is crucial to saving valuable seconds and coming out victorious. This program is designed to help players maximize linear, lateral, and change of direction speed.

Club Strength: (60 minutes) As athletes get older, strength and power play a more important role in success. From conventional lifting techniques to plyometrics, Olympic lifts and non-conventional forms of training, this program is designed to not only introduce and teach how to increase strength and power, but also to continue driving athletes to new levels.

Teams: All team training sessions begin with a complimentary consultation with a Performance coach to tailor a program to specifically meet the needs of the team. Sessions can either be 60 or 90 minutes long. Training can be sport specific - by understanding the body and the dynamics of sport in general, all of our Performance Coaches are able to create and adapt programs to suit the needs of any sport.

Evaluations

For athletes 11 years and older - see how you match up.  Our Performance Coaches will put you through a series of evaluations (both sport specific and general) designed to set the starting point for your training needs.  Many evaluations are comparable to a set of norms to allow for a comparison by age.
